Hey folks! Life has been keeping me really busy lately, so I missed streaming for a few weeks. I’m planning on returning to my normal streaming schedule, so be sure to stop by. Since this was the first session I had done in a while, I spent time reacquainting myself with the codebase and what I was up to. I decided to see if I could add more cat colors (besides black). After doing it manually on a few shades of brown, I decided to write a python script to automate importing the sprites so they are usable within godot without me manually entering each one. After that is done, I’d like to add some UI to the game so you can select the color of cat. I think after I’ve done that and some more polishing, I want to work on making it respond to tips so that I can get to some kind of MVP that other streamers can test out.
I was feeling low motivation to stream today and wanted to skip. A good friend of mine encouraged me to stream anyways because it helps build a strong, good habit. You know who are – thanks for the extra push. I’m glad I streamed today.
Not going to include a short of the game running this stream because nothing really changed that a user could see – hopefully something neat for tomorrow!
